West Main Street Improvements
Work will start Monday, June 29th, on a project to rebuild the West Main Street sidewalk system from the Court House and Roger Wells Blvd. This is for both sides of the sidewalk & the grass strips between. The road may be reduced to one lane in each direction during some of the construction, and motorists should expect delays. The speed limit in the work zone will be reduced to 15 MPH during the project, which should be completed by the end of September. We ask motorist to avoid this area if possible. |

On Thursday, May 21, a ribbon cutting was held for the newly constructed Emergency Services Facility located at Airport Road. This facility is used by Air Methods and the Barren-Metcalfe Emergency Medical Services.
