The Street Division of the Department of Public Works provides numerous services for the City including street and sidewalk maintenance, curbing installation and repairs, sewer and storm drain repairs, and snow and ice removal. The Street Division also has a masonry crew, both of which perform work for, not only the Department of Public Works, but other City Departments. In addition, the division also performs city wide litter removal including crews designated specifically for the clean up of the City's business and high visibility districts.Fleet maintenance for the Department of Public Works is performed at the City Garage. The Street Division operates out of the City Yard located at 310 West Front Street and has a staff of employees, of which five (5) are management positions.
