Glasgow Recreation Department Tennis Lessons

The Glasgow Recreation Department offers youth tennis lessons each summer for ages 6-16.   The lessons are for a 2 week period with lessons on Mondays through Thursdays.  Friday is a make-up day for any missed lessons.  Each participant receives a t-shirt and has lots of fun.  Registration for youth tennis lessons is held during May and lessons begin in June.  The registration fee is $20 for 1 session.  Anyone signing up for a second session receives a $5 discount for the second session.

Adult Tennis Leagues are offered each summer in men's and women's singles and doubles and mixed doubles.  Also offered is a high school age tennis league in boy's and girl's singles and doubles.  The cost of the league varies according to which session a participant enrolls.  Sign-ups are usually during May with league play beginning in June.

The Glasgow Recreation Department offers a non-competitive social mixed doubles mixer league each fall for adults in which players register and meet on Sunday afternoons at the tennis courts and play mixed doubles.  The cost is only $10 and runs until cold weather prevents play.
