Fall / Winter Volleyball Signups will begin Monday, July 26th at the Glasgow Recreation Department and will run through Friday, August 20th.

Leagues being offered are as follows:
Co-ed 6's A's
Co-ed 6's B's
Co-ed 6's Open
Men's 4's
Women's 4's
Church Co-ed 6's Open

There will be a coaches meeting on Tuesday, August 24th at the Glasgow Recreation Department office. League play will begin in early September. For additional information, contact the Glasgow Recreation Department at 651-3811 or 651-9012.


Fall Baseball / Fastpitch registration runs through August 23rd from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Glasgow Recreation Department located at 309 South Liberty Street. Late night sign ups are August 19, August 20 and August 24 from 4:00 p.m to 5:30 p.m. The cost is $25 per child. Cal Ripken and Babe Ruth rules will govern play. The Glasgow Recreation Department is offering the Pepsi Punt, Pass & Kick Competition on Thursday, August 26th from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. at Beaver Trail Complex. This event is FREE and open to boys and girls ages 8 to 15 years old. All participants must bring a copy of their birth certificate and fill out a registration/waiver form. Adventure Club Zipline Trip will be Saturday, August 21st at 7:00 a.m. in Mammoth Cave area. The cost is $35 per person. RESTRICTIONS ARE: Must be at least 75 pounds and cannot weigh more than 275 pounds to participate in this Adventure Club activity. While participating this trip know that there will be heights of 70 to 80 feet, you will also experience high speeds in excess of 35 and 35 mph. INFORMATION: The Glasgow Recreation Department is now taking registration for the Adventure Clup Zipline trip. This includes a sky bridge, 5 separate ziplines and 2 personal tour guides. Our Recreation Team provides high quality programs that are both desirable and beneficial to all segments of our population. These programs are designated to promote the mental, physical, educational and social well being of our community. Highly trained personnel teach, officiate, and supervise. These programs are offered free of charge whenever possible or at an affordable fee so everyone can participate.
