The Board
representatives are appointed by the Mayor of the City of Glasgow subject to
the approval of the Glasgow City Council. They are responsible for
establishing, maintaining, and supervising the park system and recreational
activities in the city of Glasgow. In so doing, the Board strives to maintain a
suitable and continuing agenda of activities with the purpose in mind to
involve citizens of all ages.
