The Glasgow Police Department is a combination of several different divisions to better ensure proper protection, service and safety. The department consist of a Patrol Division, a Detective Division (CID) with 3 full time detectives, a Critical Emergency Response Team (CERT) who are specially trained to handle high risk situations. The department has a Public Information Officer, as well as a Drug Education Officer (DARE) who visits the local schools and presents the D.A.R.E. Program to local students. The Telecommunications Division of our department dispatches call for many different agencies. The Telecommunications Division, along with the 911 Center, has the most modern and up-to-date system available which includes the Cad system, LINK/NCIC, and mapping system. The department also provides an Honor Guard and Bagpiper for many local events. Each of these officers, as well as my administrative staff, work hard to ensure that the City of Glasgow is provided with the best in Law Enforcement. I am honored to be the Chief of Police and to serve such a fine department. It is our pleasure to serve and protect all who live, work and visit our wonderful city everyday.
