This landmark, located in the Beula C. Nunn Park near the Square, commemorates and honors the citizens of Glasgow and Barren County who have served this country in the armed forces. There are currently over 1,000 plaques on the wall.
Information and form to add a name/plaque to the wall can be downloaded here.
For a listing of current names on the wall you can download this PDF file (last updated April 16, 2013). It lists the names on the wall as well as their location by row and column so you can easily find a plaque on the wall. Instructions for using this file are as follows:
The names are in alphabetical order. There are thirteen rows of names on the wall. In this file, these rows are labeled A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, J, K, AND L. Each section starts another alphabetical group of names. In this file all fourteen sections have been grouped together, so that the entire wall of names is in alphabetical order.
In this file, the location of a name on the wall is shown in column “D”. titled “LOC”.
The section where the name is located is shown in column “E”, titled “SEC”.
