The Glasgow Police Department is now accepting applications for the position of Telecomunicator. All applicants must be a United States citizen, must be at least eighteen years of age, have a high school diploma or G.E.D.; have not been convicted of a felony; be able to pass a drug screen; must take a suitability screening; must take a polygraph screening and submit fingerprints for a criminal check. Applicants must be able to complete a five week basic training academy. Persons interested in applying may pick up an application at Glasgow City Hall, 126 East Public Square, between the hours of 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday thru Friday. All applications must be returned to the City Clerk's Office and will be accepted until 4:30 p.m., Monday, February 8, 2010. |
